The Commemorative Air Force is an organization that purchases historic planes, restores them to flying condition, and then presents them to the public in spectacularly daring airshows. The museum for the organization is located at the Walker Field Airport, near the Bookcliff Country Club. The Colorado branch of the organization prides on being "The Home of the TBM-3E Avenger", the Navy's ace-in-the-hole bomber during World War II.
