The Cross Orchards Historic Site is a 24-acre historic recreation of a 19th-century farmstead featuring highly talented "interpretors" making history come alive. The site is located on the east edge of town, in the Highland Parks area of the city. The former 243-acre fruit farm offers visitors a chance to examine antique farm equipment, 19th-century railroad paraphernalia, and a gift shop full of apple treats.
